Finally

got my windshield changed , mb dealer quoted me 1100 otd price to do it and I went to safelite and they did it for 250 otd. Same glass as original with rain sensor and everything . Saved me 850

i think i need to replace mine 'cuz there's too much sandblast on them already
(too much 150 mph).

R U saying you got from Safelite Mobile?

Was it an OEM part? The last time I used them on a BMW I was told it'd be OEM but what was installed was not. In the overall scheme of things it didn't matter, but I'd have preferred a factory part.

Safelite is OEM for many cars. I don't know who makes the windshields in the MB's but it sure isn't Mercedes.

Mercedes-Benz makes me more and more angry each day. They overcharge for everything, and this is a perfect example. They take advantage of the fact that many MB owners just don't want to deal with the issues themselves, because time is money for the majority of them. By actually checking someplace else, EURO KNG got a great deal

The OEM glass for our W203s with rain sensor is Pilkington, PN 43R-001585. It's about $200-$250 last time I checked.

Make sure the install is a good one; The adhesive is the most important part of the install on any windshield. I think Safelite is one of the better ones out there!!
