TeleAid SOS Call Workshop message
My console displayed this and after I turned the car off, said 1 malfunction. Anyone have an idea of that this means? Car's running fine. I have a reader
and wondering if a code is stored on this.

AFAIK
A lot of people experienced this issue when the TeleAid system, which was analaog, went defunct. If you have the upgrade to the digital version, I can't help you, otherwise do a search for TeleAid malfunction and you'll find a thread with the answers your looking for.

I found this:
Wow, I thought the dealers were being trained on fixing and diagnosing the W203 chassis, back in 2002. This must be kind of embarassing for them.
Here are my notes, ... this should do it.
In stardiagnosis :-
Control Units -> Info. and comms. -> ICM -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Version Coding -> Optional Equipment
In the optional equipment menu you can set the following
to present or not-present depending on what you have
AUDIO, Tele-aid, Cellular Telephone, Trip Computer, Navigation.

another thing we have found with this error is that one of the connectors that is located under the shifter has come unplugged. It is the one with the white rectangular wire harness. There are 3 total wires for telaid- a white harness, antenna, and what seems to be a cat5 like cable. The only one that has to be connected to not get that error is the white one. It goes to the two buttons that are in the armrest.
