clicking noise when i turn the steering wheel 90' to the right

I get this click when I turn my steering wheel 90 degrees to the right and it happens right at the moment when I start to turn it the other way. It only occurs when I turn the steering wheel to the right, not the left.

Need to know if anyone has this problem? I want to learn more before I take it to the dealership.

I had a similar problem long time ago.
If I remember correctly something under the dash came loose and make a clicking noise when turning all the way.

I have this creaking noise right now as well. At first I thought it was the steering wheel but after closely looking into it, it's the horn cover that's making the noise. It's loose on one side. I'm taking it into the dealership this weekend to have MB look at it and attach it more securely. Try to pinpoint where the click is coming from and just go to the dealership have them take a look at it.

thanks for the response, guys. I will take a closer inspection when i get home from school today. It seems like something under the or within the dashboard is loose or something because I can feel the click from my feet when i'm on the brake.

Ya...make sure you investigate yourself where the noise is actually coming from before going to MB. I brought my car into the dealership last time claiming there was a creaking noise whenever I turned the steering wheel. Mind you it only happens in the morning or on a very cold day. They took it all apart and checked each part and told me everything sounded normal to them, but I swear there was something wrong. Just a month ago I finally realized that MB was right all along. It wasn't the steering wheel. It was the horn cover. And since I place my hands around that area when I drive, turning the wheel will make it creak and seem like it's coming from the steering wheel itself. So basically I wasted a trip to MB. Now I know .

mine is actually more than just a clicking noise. I can feel the click through my hand when it's on the steering wheel. It's more of a clunk from behind the dashboard.

Sounds like it's not in an obvious location. I'm sure MB will take apart the dashboard and look more closely to pinpoint the source of the clicking.
