Guys I'm driving and I turn on the rear defroster..all of a sudden the radio has a ton in interferance Wierd

Did you shut the car off for a period of time and if so, did the sound rectify itself?
Mine has freaked out many times. It will be loud static on all functions but the CD. I turn the car off for a few minutes or longer and all is well.
This started during a heavy rain storm a year or 2 ago. Were you involved in any the rain hitting today. If so, it may be your antenna amplifier (or something like that).
