OFF TO IRAQ....
Well, the time has come for me once again ladies and gentlemen...my country has called on me for the 5th time...and i must go. I will be deploying on the 3rd and leave for the sandbox. I will try to post from time to time, internet service is somewhat good over there but it depends on where you are. I talked to Neal at Eurotek and we are lining some things up, and I also went with GMP out of North Carolina for the Kleemann motor build. I tossed around the idea of twin turbos, while visions of an 800 hp motor in my mind seemed so close. Then reality sets in. Deployments, uncertainty, future family, even death. Why spend so much on a car and sacrafice everywhere else in my life? Is there something wrong with me? That i want so much more out of this car? Am i dreaming the impossible dream? Not impossible maybe, but very very expensive. Then it hit me. Many people cant even get to drive a MB, let alone drop 20k on the Kleemann kit, 5k on install, 9k for the Kleemann interior(full interior and CF) and 8k-10k with Euroteck. I need to learn to be happy, and not always need to be "that guy" (You know the one) So i will just do the stage 4, or try to push the envelope with a custom stage 5 (they dont market this stage..i just figured i could do more than the 4 does and call it a 5

I need an AMG shirt...i will wear it and take some pics....wasnt someone going to do some custom shirts awhile ago??? maybe i will take my AMG jacket hmmmm.....then when i am driving the hummer, i can put it on and pretend i am driving an AMG

i will, dont forget about me...we gotta work on the car(s)....going with the 2006 E55...but as for the C55...all Kleemann...is the big brake upgrade from them that good? i see that they offer it...if i dont hear from you..i will give you a call....leaving tonight at 9pm.

The brake kit is good but expensive, & they are probably made by the same company (brembo). Remember the store I told you they can get you front and rears off a 63 for under 3500. Oem! Plus I got plenty of brake fluid left from when I did mine.

Wonderful thoughts about how you view your hobby and how it relates in the big picture of life. Family, kids... everything. I was in the same boat as you. Gave up Supermoto Racing when I crashed and broke my wrist. All I could think of was my two little girls. I couldnt carry them. I couldnt hold both of their hands when walking. It was all of the small things. But I do still ride. Just no more racing.
