Old guy backed into me.
Yesterday morning I was looking for a place to park at my parents condo when a older man in a Ford Taurus backed out of his parking and right into the passenger side of my car. Neither of us were going very fast, maybe 5 mph but it bent in my front passenger door. Not much damage, just the door but still...
Ah well. Off to find a good body shop.
Drive safe.

Something similar just happened to my sister in Buffalo. It was snowing and she was in a parking lot waiting for someone to back into a spot, when some idiot who decided he didn't need to remove the snow from his back window backed right into her. Luckily he wasn't going very fast and because of the snow on the ground her car skidded a little rather than absorbing the impact so the damage was minimal. She was still pretty pissed though.
Always frustrating when you have out of pocket expenses for the car that are 100% not your fault, I feel for you.

I swear old people should be required to have parking sensors lol. A guy backed into my 300E a couple years ago with his SUV and the door still doesn't shut right after all the body work.
