W203 Mirror Blinkers ?
Gents, is it plug-and-play to go from the frosty W203 blinkers on the mirrors to the clear blinkers from the W203 2005+? They seem fairly reasonable at the dealer at $43 each and are there other sources that are cheaper than the dealer out there for these? TIA.

it is quite easy... you only need a Screwdriver as tool...
you first need to remove the housing of the mirror.
first you close your mirrors, then you need to look to the part of the mirror that has shown itself by folding them.
there is a small square hole on the outer side, there you need to use the screwdriver to push a metal clip. once that is done, you should fold your mirrors 1/3 open and make sure that your mirror-glas is in the right position to remove the housing...
the blinkers themself are set in place with only 2 screws. and when you put the housing back on, the connection is made by itself, you (normally) don't have to connect anything...
the pricing is quite right... i got them for about 20 or 25 $ a piece, but i work in a mercedes garage, so i have some discount...
If you know someone who works in a garage you can always ask them if they are willing to buy it for you, so you get the discount...
otherwise, it is a must-do mod, in my opinion it makes the car look "younger"
grtz
