c32 engine stalling on occasion
i recently began having engine trouble after my car ran out of gas on the street. i managed to restart the car (guess there was still a few drops left to start it up again and drive it to the gas station). i filled up the tank but the car wouldnt start right away. after waiting for about 20 minutes, for some reason, the car now started and i was on my way again. for the next two weeks, there were no problems at all. then i ran out of gas again on the street (i know, twice in two weeks!). again, i managed to restart the car after it stalled on the street and get it to the nearest gas station to refuel. but then again, the car wouldnt start right away. for whatever reason again, after waiting for about 20 minutes or so, the car now started and i was on my way again. but this time, the car stalled again while i was driving home from the gas station with a full tank of gas! ever since, even with gas in the car, my car has been stalling at red lights, and while driving. it even stalled once on the freeway. most of the time, i would have to wait for about 20 minutes or so before the car will restart again. im thinking that because i was "running on fumes" a couple of times, somehow ive messed up or clogged my fuel injector with residue from the gas tank or something similar? thats just my theory but i could be completely wrong. my car stalls every couple of days now and pretty often while im on the street, blocking traffic esp when im at a red light. im nervous every time i take the car out now thinking about when the next time itll stall on me. thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.

I would have a mechanic check out that fuel pump. You should really be more careful with the car and monitoring it's fuel. When the light comes on you should immediately pull into a station.

Kidding aside, that sucks! Hope you get it resolved because you have a safety issue to worry about.
Did you ever have problems cranking or keeping the engine running before the fuel issues?
The symptoms are very like a CPS failure.
Is it just a coincidence that he ran his system out of fuel? Possibly.
In addition, I would have a lot of the fuel system checked out:
Fuel sending units
Fuel filter (definitely need a new one at this stage)
Injectors may need cleaning (or possibly even new ones).
