Leaky C55

After sitting much of the winter here in the midwest (what a winter) I moved my 2005 C55 and noticed a several small trans fluid spots (1.5inches in diamerter) and oil drops (quater inch) on the garage floor. Has anyone experienced similar problems? I bought the car new, the car has 20,000 miles and is not abused (driven hard but not abused).

I am going in on Monday for repairs and want to be able to point the dealer in some direction so it does not come back with the "cant replicate the problem" BS.

Thanks for your help.

Had the same issue with the left side valve cover gasket & 13 pin connector on the trans at 35K. If you search, there's another thread about this. Seems to be a common issue with the C55.

Had the same thing. Took it to the dealership, cause was a leaking pilot bushing on the electrohydraulic control unit (this is straight from the service invoice).

On my C55, the drivers side valve cover gasket leaked slightly (@30k) , the seal on the transmission multi plug leaked (@40K), and the main seal between the tranny & the engine leaked (@40K). All fixed under warranty. I believe that there have been threads about all of these fairly common leaks.

Thanks for the input everyone. I will take this to the dealer to assist in locating the problem.
