Just take the part number to the dealership parts department, don't tell them what it is. The key will be cut and sent to you. Since we don't have keyless-go our keys are pretty cheap.
At one dealership, the SA quoted me $200 dollars. Then I went to a different dealership, same ownership, but the person behind the parts counter was just someone who didn't look like she cared, and sold me the key and blade for aprox $75. This was for the "new" style chrome key.

If you want the new style key, just search our AMG C forum or the normal W203 forum for "new style key". It is two part numbers, one for the FOB and one for the blade. When you order it, you provide them with your VIN and proof of ownership (such as insurance card and ID). It comes in a few days.
The key is cut and the FOB is programmed when you receive them.
(this is all based on my experience with this, two and a half years ago)

'02 white C32 in the inner-ring 'burbs (Berwyn). There's also a champaign C32 and a silver C32 running around in this area that I've seen more than once as well.

The champaign C32 could have been me, as I lived out in that general area up until a few weeks ago. If it's got a Florida Gators license plate frame, then it's me.
