Is a door adjustment a DIY job?

My rear door on the passenger side appears to not have a tight fit and often
rattles/make noises. Is there a way for me to adjust the fit so it's a little tigher
when closed?

Piece of cake. Loosen the door catch affixed to the body (only loosen, no need to completely remove the fasteners) and adjust as necessary. Don't overtighten / strip.

You can even use a lead pencil to make markings so you maintain the vertical setting and only adjust it horizontally.

Nice. Thanks. I'm going to look at this right now.

I backed the bolts out on the piece on the body (not all the way out) but didn't see how to adjust it (it doesn't look like is slides at all).
