New dyno numbers for Jon
I just got off the phone with Jon Winter. He's the guy that has the C32 with the renntech ecu and pulley kit and initially had lower than expected numbers. see this post for those numbers.... https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...highlight=dyno
well he is down in Florida now for the Rolex 24hrs and he stopped at Renntech to get some tuning done and the first thing they did was put the car on the dyno and it revealed a 310.3 hp and a 322.3 tq at 76 degrees farenheit. The dyno was done in 3rd gear on 93 octane gas. Renntech said he probably dyno'd too soon after installing the mods and the ecu needed more time to adapt therefore the low numbers initially.
He should be back on Monday after the race with plenty of pictures of the renntech facility which he says is top notch.

After running on track in our C32 against a RENNtech C32, I am thinking his car is still low. You can find the write-up on that by searching under my name. We ran just a tick on the clock slower then the RENNtech car and they had the pulleys, ECU and brakes while we only had the pulleys. Knowing our dyno numbers, it seems that 280 at the wheels is too low still when comparing the track times.
I cannot wait to hear from John (please call me if you see this). For those of you that do not know, John raced in a BMW for the Speedvision World Challenge that had our BMW pulley kit (well almost 90% of the BMW's did).
Thanks
Brad

Jon, I believe we have a mutual friend, drives a yellow C5, I would like to get in touch with you in regards to your dealings with RENNtech and their products. jwade@greateratlantic.net
