I believe there are quite a few related topics on this in past threads...I could say don't go more then 8k you start loosing brightness and it starts to look purpleish...try the newbie thread I think I posted links..GL

8000k is too bright for the fogs..... my HID fogs are 4200K but i forget which brand/kit i have.... but the color match is close and the brightness offset is great w/ the xenon heads
