I heard it was really hot and none of the cars were running really well today, DAs must be off the charts with heat and humidity!!! Vic caught a flat so his runs were limited and I hear that Jakes Torque Converter is failing, so no good news to report thus far!!

Wow, good stuff - you and hooleyboy would probably be a neck-and-neck race if you were both on DR's. Keep after it!

It was HOTTTT The track prep was poor from the night before and no one was sticking. I broke the tires loose at 50mph on my first run (kinda scary when Im on drags)

torque convertor is perfectly fine, ran into a problem with the torque control unit. The car is running so much torque and HP, the tranny (tcu) is shutting it down in 3rd gear and going into limp mode. We have a way to fix it, but couldnt do it at the track without the proper tools.

We had the car on the dyno and on the street running strong, but the issue never arose until the drag tires and drag launch.

I guess its a good problem to have when you have too much torque and HP....

Alumar's car was very fun to play with. We are in the process of "fixing" his tune. She still has much power to be made. The car will easily be mid to low 11's after the tune and a good DA day.

When is that event you guys were talking about? I may drop the car off a few days before it to get detailed in chicago for it.

The car felt great on saturday. I wonder if anyone got a picture of my big 260lb **** in there with the other 270lb dude in the front ... still poped off a 12.6 @ 113mph with 2 fatties in the front!

hahaha, that was me. damn. i was hoping you weren't gonna bring up the fat kids records. i mean we could have towed a boat faster if it wasn't two fat kids. haha. kidding.

the only vid i have of you is from inside the car on the ride along. its bumpy and doesn't do you true justice. i'll post it up tonight.

also, i have a good number of vids where i can tell the car, but can't put a name to a face. i'll post em up here and on the crossfire forums and just PM me if it was you and I will give you credit in the vid.

Great day overall, thanks to all the Eurocharged/LET guys and it was good fun seeing everyone run.

I hope someone brakes it. Its the off season out here in AZ so you got some time. I plan on fighting for the title or defending it come October. I got 4 big moves I'm making as we speak. Driving the minivan for a while wont be in vain. I plan on making a big splash at Fomoso this fall. Hoping to give even the V12's a run.

Its all good Hooley ... honestly if i ever go for the record it wont be me driving. It will be a set of drag radials, 60 degree evening and someone about a buck 20 driving.

I think it is possible with drag radials for me to be in the high 11's, but mid 11's will purely be a good drag racer driving.

DR will make a difference, I have to say on street tires thats a blistering time. I've tried racing with street tires and its a whole other ball game.

Think that only happens when the track is prepped correctly. I think a lot of people with DR's werent getting the traction required to break anything...

As mentioned before, i watched Wayne burn his E55 half way down the track... no traction at all in the left lane

right lane was definately the better of the two on saturday but that wasn't saying much...

besides, i'm pretty sure Wayne burned his E55 half way down the track in either lane...

So Jake...when is the next track day?

I know about your long tubes, exhaust/mufflers but what are the other 2 moves? 82mm TB and what else? What about lowering the compression ratio and upping the boost with a 181mm pulley?
