DIY Oil change for C32
Guys and gals how have you been?? Have not been on for a while..
OK I know there is a thread for neebies called the 'One stop.....etc etc by C32used'.. I searched that entire thread and really the C32 oil change should be the first sticky but I could not find anywhere. I found the sticky for the park numbers..hehehe... Found a great step by step with pics for a E350. lolol..
Anywho.. I have my extracter..
(1)Put the tube in where the dipstick is and pump her out.
(2)The oil filter is set at 25NM and is located to the front left and behind that is where the new oil is poured ( the lid with the oil symbol and states to prevent damage do not exceed max oil). So far so good???
(3) 8.5 quarts is the max right? Should I put in the same volume of oil that comes out into the extracter?? Since I have read that not all oil is sucked up by the extracter.

Put in exactly what you take out. Start the car for a few minutes then turn it off. Let it set for a while and turn on dyno mode for the oil level in quarts. I top to about 8 qts.

I didn't post one cause there really isn't any but there is a oil drain plug in the bottom just remove the cover(or whatever its called) and do as scottw911 stated. Where u buy extractor? why not post step by step of your process so I can post it in the newbie thread. BTW I found the Mann oil filter for cheapest at Needswings.com among other things. GL
