Thanks - was just curious. Yeah, it's probably Brembo, Alcon, AP Racing... someone like that.

2019 E63s AMG
Their worth it If you are planning to track your car (a lot) or do anything that will use them consistently ... their worth the investment over stock AMG (which you could sell to a standard model Merc)

Stock AMG is good for the first few stops, but if you are tracking it and constantly on them... they will start to fade.

I have yet to get the brembo GT's to fade...Through 2 road events so far and 3 autocross events

I DON'T COME HERE ANYMORE
Upgrade the pads, lines, fluid, and ditch the drilled rotors if you are tracking-I've swapped all mine and notice a huge diff-the calipers are fine-I'd like to see how the paint holds up after some events and heat (we've nicknamed Brembo's BROWNbo's on the evo's-they cook pretty fast!)

2012 C63 Sedan - Mars Red on Red Pepper
hey everyone, I have been in the market for a little over a year for a C32 or C55. I went to this dealership about 7-8 months ago and checked out this car but it was out of my price range they were asking $39,999 for the car and they were not giving me what I wanted for my trade. Now, I don't know that much about Mercedes, one time I sat in a friends Renntech C32 and fell in love and knew I had to have one!

I noticed most people in this thread basicly said the car is not worth it. Are you guys saying it has been abused because it has this nitrous kit? One guy said he sat in the car and saw the gauge and walked away, maybe someone can help me out and explain the problem....

Well they do still have the car, I sold my car so I'm ready to purchase. They have lowered it down to $28,999. Their obviously is somthing wrong with the car that it has not been picked up yet. I'm leaning towards a stock 03 C32 with 63k for $15,800. Love to hear everyones thoughts and advise...

Are you from the bay area? Sounds like you are looking at the C32 in San Carlos. I tried to go up there a few time but every time I went on saturday the dealership was closed. Whatever you do, do not buy the black one from Navato Ford, it is leaking a red fluid.

That C55 has been at 28K forever. The blower and the N02 kit is just throwing people off. they need to lower the price again.

Maybe it was not picked up yet since they were asking 34 grand for the car originally and that was high IMO for a used C55. If you can afford $28,999 or better yet have them price it lower then I say pull the trigger. That is if there's nothing wrong with the car. All those mods and labor can add up quickly (Renntech isn't cheap), again consider this car if you will be tracking alot.

I also have an '03 C32 and that price is not bad, I'll ask them to lower the price to $14,500 considering it's bone stock. Throw in an extra 5-7 grand for mods and you'll have a nice setup.

Again, final decision goes to you. You put the value on something that you would enjoy having.

Is it a Kleemann C55 thats got a SC??? If so, $28 K is a real good price for a C55 Kleemann??

yeah I am... yead Fred Duncan, the owner is driving the car. I saw that one too but im looking for silver only. The C55 is stretching what I want to spend up front and god knows how much abuse it has taken that it has been sitting there for so long.

also, I look at $28,999 up front that's if they wont go lower virsus $15,800 up front. plus atleast $10,000 worth of mods over time, those renntech wheels, which are the wheels I wants are running $3,000-$4,000 used!!!

wouldn't you say the C55 is going to hold its value better?

I don't have all the cash so I'm thinking to finance the C55, atleast then I dont have to put any money into it just a payment every month! thats if it has no problems.

The thing of owning a C32 or a C55. You'll always want to upgrade whenever you can, so you will still ended up spending.

I've learn since I bought my car last July, I ended up spending on fixing small issues/problems here and there. I know that this applies to owning a car period but I you still have to spend some for owning an AMG, atleast in IMO.

My guess is Alcon, they dont look like brembos.

What are you looking to get out of the car? Why not just buy a C55 and put a Kleemann blower on it?
