A couple of things to consider here. Full-time increased fuel pressure will result in the computer's adaptables learning this newer richer calibration and trim back fuel inj pulse widths in-line with it's normal operating range. These long-term trims also get factored in when determining WOT (open-loop) fueling. So any gains are negated.

Now if someone had the smarts to figure out how to adjust the adaptables in WOT fueling to some default, constant value, then we will have the ability to tailor WOT fueling by simply adjusting fpr - at least we could shift the whole curve up or down (can't address the dips or valleys this way tho).

Or, as splinter alluded to, if you are able to increase fuel pressure only when needed (during boost for example - by plumbing boost pressure to the regulator) and when the adaptables are not learning (near WOT), then more fp will result in more fuel - assuming you have enough fuel pump. And splinter's pressure data seems to prove that the C's have more than adequate pump.

My C had a heck of a lot more power then most and I never changed the pump.
