spark plug anti-foulers are what you'r talking about I think-
buy 2 per O2 sensor-drill one out to fit the sensor, and screw them together, then into the bung, then the sensor into the anti-foulers-it "tricks" the O2 into thinking there is a resistance to the flow (you wont be getting 100% of the exhaust flow over the tips) and not trip a CEL-works many a times on my older cars!

Yup you got it however what I suggest is to double stack em. MB's are very sensitive BTW you will also improve flow since your sensor will be out of the stream.
