C32 battery replacement.

I was astounded when I couldn't hardly find hardly anything here or on Google. First time that I've ever stumped the MBW search, heh.

I did find a thread over on the Crossfire forums saying something about Odyssey batteries (possibly a rebrand) that are decently priced and *really* light too, but would the same battery fit our car? Whatever generic crap that's in my car now, put in by a previous owner, is too small to begin with and slides around a tiny bit, especially when I take hard left turns. I can actually hear it thump over to the side when I juice it coming out of a corner.

Optima would almost certainly be my brand of choice, especially with the audio that I figure on putting into my C soon enough, but they're usually pretty expensive and if I remember right, the Red-top in the proper size to fit our car weighs almost 50lbs...

So, yeah, any suggestions?

Awesome link, thanks. Definitely might look into one of those.

Any idea what the stock size is for us, or how many CCA we generally need?

If you want the stock size battery it will weigh the same as stock. If you want a lighter battery then you will have to fabricate a mounting bracket as it will not mount as OEM. A 20lb savings from the battery will be undetectable from a performance point.
