2003 C32 - Upgrade stock radio only to factory NAV unit
I honestly searched for this prior to posting this.
Does anyone know what all is involved in upgrading the stock radio/casette unit to the navigation unit? I just found someone locally who's selling the stock navigation unit. I just emailed him to find out more about it but from the pic it appears to also be out of a C32. I already have the 6 CD changer in the glovebox.
I'm assuming I'd also need an antenna. Any thing else? Has anyone done this swap?
I have a Pioneer F500BT that was great in my old vehicle using a vent mount - but the vents on the c32 just won't hold the beast of a portable gps unit up.

You need a plug adapter and a GPS antenna that can go under your dash above your instrument cluster. And you might need some tools. It's not that hard to do.

FYI, generally speaking the factory NAV sucks. You will get get the factory look but the functionality just isn't there compared to aftermarket units. I wouldn't do it unless I was getting a hell of a good deal. GL
