Has anyone raced a CLK55? How close was it?
In stock form, is the acceleration of both these cars pretty similar? A comparison of the new CLK55 would be good, but since it's pretty much the same engine as the old one, I guess it should be pretty close.

very close
i own both. the c43 is marginally quicker, but i havent really opened her up yet. still in break in period. it has a distinct weight advantage, particularly over my cab. i would say handling and braking seem about even. the sedan is much more tossable. Hope this very subjective analysis helps, i have not done any instrumented testing or track work.
