Have been reading alot here for about a week because I'm looking at a 2002 C32. 85k miles, short money. Looks excellent, drives great. My Porsche mechanic has some experience with MB and wants to check it out for me. I don't think he can do a glycol test.
What should I make sure he looks for? I must admit the rad/trans threads have me a little nervous. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Inspection/purchase is scheduled for Thursday am.
Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware of this issue. How would one detect this condition? I'm guessing with a meter.Originally Posted by TemjinX2
