Rear Caliper to Match??

i think is it really strange that the rear rotor/calipers look totally out of place on this car. Dont understand the thinking. I ordered the rear cross drilled rotors. $ 150 for the pair..not bad.

Has anyone been able to find rear calipers that are a direct fit and have AMG and are painted as the fronts??

none
yeah the slk 55 4 piston rear calipers.
you will have to trim a little off the rear dust shield to get to fit
hopefully you have a buddy at the parts place to get a discount.

Eventually save up for the 6 pot brakes for the front.
you can always offload your four piston fronts to the civillian W203 crowd.

But what's the piston area of that caliper and will it have any effect on the master cylinder....

I did it and works fine, I have a nice set of four piston rear that I just need to refinish and they will be good. It looks like they have never been used but they got all scratched up for some reason. They will be all painted including the AMG part (not stickers). They bolt right up and like the other post just trim them. I just got the correct shields and there a waist of money. there just trimmed. I think I might make a template for people who just want to trim there's.

The master cylinder is the same part number for clk63bs and c55- e.g. same bore. I sold my old brakes for 1k! hehe. I also bought the clk63bs full set for 1500 heh. Probably one of the better upgrades. Too bad the damn pagid yellows are so damn expensive!
