... my cousins 03' C32 AMG
notice the green stickers on the intakes.....this is a freshly done C32 motor with RENNTech filters, ECU upgrade, and Pulley kit. RENNTech uses Greenfilter USA filters now as opposed to ITG. I also heard that the new ITGs for mercedes taht are comming out have a thiner layer of foam for increased flow.

the C32 ECU and pulley kit from RENNTech retails for $3495.00USD w/o installation. It gives you 45hp and 60tq...plus vmax removal, raised rev limiter, and increased throttle response.

ITG filters definiltely lose HP on the C32. They were designed to thick, and become a restriction. Vadim had performed and posted dynos on his car proving this. Renntech switching away from ITG filters was definitely a step in the right direction.

I spoke with Renntech yesterday regarding why they switched to Green filters, and they told me it was because of supply problems with ITG.
Personally, I'm very happy with the ITG filters in my SLK32.

Would you expect them to say that they switched after realizing that the filters lost power? They'd have hundreds of customers calling, demanding new filters. Don't get me wrong, we love ITG filters on the BMW; they work quite well. But on the Mercedes, every car we have tested has come up negative.
BenzoAMGPower,
Our IC reservoir upgrade adds 6 liters of coolant capacity to the stock intercooler system. We only offer it with our ODPS, as it was designed to complement them.
Thanks,
Ben

I think ITG Air Filters really lose HP
I used ITG and then changed K&N then changed ITG again.
I noticed that ITG has no low torque. When I kick down on my car, the rev goes up slower than K&N.
