Yes, Evosport has sway bars designed specifically for our C32. Its a night and day difference vs. AMG. I dont think the Eibach bars work on our cars. At least no one has tried it.

Brabus & Renntech also have sway bars for the W203.

Yes, the eibach sways will work on the C32.

Yes the Eibach sway bars will fit on the C32 no problems. In fact the rear is 1mm thicker (if I recall correctly) than the Evosport one. Also, at $345 it's cheaper.

The only "potential" problem you might run into is if you have stock projector bi-xenons (2003 models). In such cases the autoleveling sensor will not fit around the front sway bar and you have to get a bigger U bolt for it. But then I imagine the same scenario will present itself if you chose the Evosport one also.

May want to double check just to make sure.

After looking at the picture oggle sent to me, I think the Xenon sensor arm is adjustable, but I just need to get under a car with Xenon to verify.

Look at the attached pic and just to the right of #160 it looks like the verticle link (#140) is adjustable. So with a slightly larger U-bolt, the Xenon autolevel sensor should work just fine.

Yup a slightly larger u bolt will do it. Once you get the bolt off just goto a hardware store and look for one. Shouldn't be too hard to find, but I'm just lazy. Still using the plastic straps (shame on me) :o .

An even cheaper alternative? Just pry the u bolt out till it fits. Not very elegant, but it should work just fine.

C32 Stock F/R
22mm/16mm

Evosport F/R
24mm/19mm
41%/98%

Eibach
24mm/22mm
41%/257%

I'm not going into the equation for bar stiffness but....
Based on math, the rear change on Eibach is a lot more (257%) compared to their change on the front (41%). That aside there are some folks that like Eibach on W203 sedans. BTW, this would add plenty of oversteer characteristic to the chassis.

Evosport users like theirs too. I think you will find the Evosports are a great match for the C32. Eibach is cheaper though.

BTW your diagram doesn't look like the C32.

With Evosport there is no "leveling" issue, it is an "attachment" issue, you might want a bigger u-bolt to attach to a thicker FRONT bar. I certainly didn't, just forced it on a little bit. But you can see Eibach and Evosport are supposedly the same diameter so..... (are you guys saying Eibach's bar is bent at different angles so adjustment is a problem as well as u-bolt)?

no the bends are fine. On the sways there is a flat spot where #110 rest and because of the larger diameter bar this flat spot is a few mm off from it's original location. This causes the arm #140 to be pulled off of it's "level" position and the sensor to think the lights need adjusting so it points them down. This would be a problem with any bar larger than stock. The larger the bar, the further down the headlight point. Needing a larger U-bolt is a minor detail. The main issue with the larger bars & Xenon is the headlight aiming.

Someone with Xenons needs to verify that arm(#140) is adjustable. From the picture posted above it probably is. I don't believe this picture is a C32, but I'm sure all C-class cars will be similar.

did that make sense?

so... more oversteer for the eibach sways... what is ultimately better handling? and a better compromise ?

with the rear bars so thick... what is the advantage and disadvantage?

Yup a bit more oversteer is needed for the C sedans. MB builds their w203's with WAAAAYYYYY too much understeer. This leads to very inprecise and uninspired steering. The AMGs are a bit better, but after the Eibachs... it's now fun.

I still only have the stock springs and wheels/tires. Even so, the car is flat as a pancake. Can't wait till I get the wheels and cup kit.

The parts guy I got that printout from told me the layout is the same for c240/320 and c32's. The sway bar is definitely thicker on the AMG, but I think that's about it. I have both printouts and they look the same.

everyone has their own preferences...but generally...a more neutral car will yield a more nimble and faster car...there are reasons for understeer and reasons for oversteer...

In an ideal world, the handling of the car combined with the driver's driving style yields optimum results. Therefore, Understeer (the tendency for the front end to push out on a turn) and Oversteer (the rear end pushes out on a turn) can be both good and bad, depending on the driver. Most all manufacturers build in understeer, as this is the safest and most comfortable setting for the casual/non-performance oriented driver. If you ever want to humble/scare the heck out of that driver (one of your friends?), just put them into a neutral or oversteering car! By the way, I have the Evosport bars and my car is set-up with reduced underteer, not quite neutral.
