SOS random call attempts. Very annoying
I have noticed that at some point each day, sometimes twice, I will get the message that the system is trying to connect an SOS call. It takes a few minutes and then fails and thats it.
It just happends at random.. somtimes just opening the door to get in the car and sometimes when I turn the car on.. seems to be no reason for it.
Anyoone experience this ..or know how to bypass this or do I have an electrical issue

dont think it was subscribed to in the past 4 or more years actually. Plus, didnt there need to be the actual car phone... or can you utilize your own cell phone for this service

TeleAide(s) is thru the car-not your phone-I think its a short somehere if its happening when you are getting in and out (vaccuum and closing of door is pushing something best bet)-
if you let your Aide(s) expire-they email-but I have never heard of them trying an SOS call-

I get this on my E55 when the trunk release lever gets stuck, and then I try to open via remote fob.
There seems to be a "panic" function when two buttons are pressed, either on the fob or on the trunk.
