Motorcycles... you gots one of these too?
I know that not everyone can have multiple high performance toys in their garage. But just like dessert, "there is always room for ice cream" I would like to think that there is always room for a motorcycle.
For me cars are special but motorcycles are what I am about. Here is one of my bikes that I have done major remodeling and reengineering.
This is a 1990 Yamaha FZR400.

In 1989 I bought this as my first bike. Over the course of 20 years I have had pretty much all the great Japanese sportbikes as well as some excellant dirtbikes and enduros. And to add to that I also raced Supermoto for several years until i broke too many bones.
But the FZR400 has always been my baby. I may have had faster and more exotic bikes but there is something about the 400cc lightweight that just thrills beyond comparison.
And just like my C32 I like to modify so I did a complete remodel and rebuild. Now it has TZ250 racing farings, a 2004 R6 front suspension and larger brakes, 520 chain and sprocket upgrades, aluminum racing rear wheel, custom made Termignoni race exhaust and so much more.
As for the Supermoto it also has a fair share of upgrades that make this thing way too "sick" to be ridden on the street. But I try. Really, I do.

I agree there is always room for ice cream. I dont have a bike per say, but I got a few ATV's that rip. My YFZ450 is bonkers fast (for a 4 stroke quad).

I have a CBR 600 (yellow/black) I purchased new in '04 that now has a whopping 2k miles on it....if that. Rode the snot out of it the first year and then got bored. Granted I was up north with cooler temps, better places to ride and had people to ride with then. The roads are horrible and boring where I am now so the poor thing just collects dust in the garage.

I started with a 78 KZ 650, moved to a 99CBR 600, Then a 01 GSXR 1000 for a couple years and currently riding a 06 Street glide with a few goodies, I am slowing down for sure!

Had an old oil leaking Sportster that I got smart and got rid of and went with RD 350 and then an RD400 and then a ZX -12 which is a crazy low 10s/high 9s at 145 qtr. bike out of the box and very quick and fast. Wifey got wise to that and made me sell it. Now I modify Power Wheels from 5 MPH to 10-12 for the kiddies!! Woo hoo!!! Am in the market now for the new BMW Sportbike aka S 1000 RR but they are pushing $20 K for that thing. Never had a Duck but have ridden one and they do handle like crzay and are torquey but feel the Japanese bikes are so much better made than the Ducks. In the market also for an Aprilia?? I love bikes, nuttin can beat a well running bike with a good rider, nothing!!! Not even a SL65 torquemonster!!

Has anyone owned or ridden one of those new Bombarier Spyder bikes? The ones with two wheels in the front and one in the back? I'm seriously considering trading my current bike and ATV in on one.

The cops in the Chicago northwest burbs are using them for lidar etc. Seen a ton of them here but never ridden one. They are cool looking.
