they used to rent helmets out back in the day, if you find yourself without one.

Yeah, I'll probably do that unless this becomes an everyday thing. I haven't been on a drag strip since high school. Back then at Maple Grave, you only needed a helmet if your car was under 10 seconds.

My hope is that if we pulled together 5+ people they'd be willing to work out a bulk rate.

As for getting more people on board, maybe you can offset some of the cost of the track day (15 car limit) with a much cheaper price for folks who either want to just come out for a tune and/or just hang out and BBQ for the day?

Honestly, I think I'd be more interested in just the tune (not sure I want to track my baby), but if it costs me an extra $200 just to have that done in person then so be it.
If additional people what to show just for tuning that should be fine. The limit on 15 cars is only for those that want to run the quarter mile. Additional people can come they just wont be allowed to run their cars. That being said we are at about 12 people already. I have a list of names and it is first come first on the list. I will take the track fees probably by 2nd week of October, payment will have to be in full. If the date gets rained out I will refund all money.

I will be in charge of handling the tuning for the event, so if you are interested please PM me and we will arrange payment details.

We are located about 2 hrs from Atco and are available to do any local installs before hand. Please email or PM if you would like to set up and appointment. info@tvtdesign.com

Didn't renew the vendor form, also why I don't really post things for sale over here anymore. We are keeping extremely busy and had to actually give away some customers until I can find more reliable employees.

As for the tuning costs they will be reflective of what is posted on the website. However, if there is a large interest I'm sure some discount can be had.

If anyone would like to spread the word on the tuning feel free.

Thanks. Figured it was something like sponsorship dues, but you never know - didn't realize they automatically call a vendor "banned" just because they don't renew... carries a pretty negative connotation, if you don't know the reasons why...

IMHO, they should have a separate term for it - "non-sponsor" or something? My $0.02. Thanks again.

OK, take me off the list for the 1/4 runs, but I PM'd Stallion for the tune. I'll be there to help cheer on my fellow motorheads.

Stable Energies ( www.stableenergies.com ) in Garfield is where I got my helmet. Great store, and helped out with sizing of my big noggin.

I may just come down for the day to see about a tune and watch the event. So, if anyone needs an XL Bell SR2, I'll probably bring it down just in case.

Anthony - still no decent tune from LET on an M111?

Bulldogger - if you need any help running the bbq, let me know; I've got mad bbq skillz.

tommy,
Thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind. XL is what I need (24"). I'll try to get one before the event anyway.

Just wondering are we getting an LET tune or a TVT tune? I'm sure I'll be happy either way, still I'm curious.

LET/Eurocharged will be doing the tunes remotely using their NE representative TVT

All our tunes from the beginning have been LET tunes. They are the best in our opinion.
