2005 C55 AMG

Side window replacement

There's a deep gouge in the side window (back seat) of my C55. It's about 6 inches long and it catches a fingernail. This is beyond repair. Can this window be replaced anywhere, or only by Mercede, since these windows have some "special" tint directly from Mercedes?

The dealer or dealers bodyshop can easily do the job. If you're talking about the little fixed glass it can be changed out in under 5 minutes if you know what you're doing.

I wish. It's the other window.

I can live with it but my wife is pissed, so unless it's just an outrageous costs to repair/replace, it'll have to be done.
