Car will not start

It's got power, and the battery was replaced last spring. When I turn the key, nothing happens. Doesn't turn over, nothing. A malfuntion comes on and says something about checking the brakes, which I replaced a few months ago. I'm just wondering if maybe the starter has gone out. Anyone ever experience this?

I ended up unplugging the seat module on the passenger side and got a jump start. No problems since, so I'm guessing that was the problem. No worries, although my passengers will not like the lack of a heated seat.

Thanks. I had the same reaction the first time I saw it also.

Remember to fully charge your battery before driving it or you will overtax your alternator thus making it fail prematurely. Trust me, I learned from experience.
