C32 AMG 2003
Cool HEy check this out........

Some dude in Germany crashed his Benz and want's to sell me his wheels.
Brabus mono V's for very cheap !!!
but the size of the wheels is:

18 x 7,5 ET 56 does this sound wright to you guy's, will this fit a C32 AMG.
The 7,5 is what makes me think they must have come of a SMART or something. The tires are 235\35\18

let me know what you think.....

I've searched through my entire Brabus catalog and I couldnt find a Brabus wheel that is 7.5 wide. Also, ET56????? You gotta be kidding!!! Our car need wheels with ET30 offset.

Forget it!! :o

This offset thingy makes me confused .
Somebody posted that C32 offset stats are:
17x7.5" offset 37 front and 17x8.5" offset 34 rear.

Then Harris said "...Our car need wheels with ET30 offset...". My question is why offset 30?, shouldn't it be 37??

Now about this offset...does a lower offset number means you'll have more space to clear the C32 calipers?, the higher offset number means less space to clear C32 calipers?.

When you change the wheel to a bigger and wider size...say for example 18x8" or 18x8.5", what would be the ideal offset numbers for those bigger wheels so that it can fit C32?. I've been reading past threads about offset but I still can't get it.

Any feedback would be much appreciated

In the case of C32, if you have two wheels that have the same offset, that doesnt mean they will clear the caliper for sure. It is because wheels might have the same offset, but their backspacing might be different. AMG claims the Style I 17" with ET37 offset will fit on a C32, but in fact, it doesnt. You need to add a 3mm spacers to clear the front calipers. The stock OE 17" Style IV has an offset of ET37 also, but it has tonnes of room between the back of the wheel and the caliper.

In general, you are correct to say "a lower offset number means you'll have more space to clear the C32 calipers? the higher offset number means less space to clear C32 calipers?.....". But there are always exception.

The BBS LMs that I have on my car now has an offset of ET30, and because of the design of the wheel and the back spacing that I mentioned, I can tell you the calipers are just barely making it.
