Windshield Wipers Problem..frustrating...
Hi All,
I was wondering if you have expereince problems with your windshield wipers (Sensor). I have 2007 C55 and they use to work fine until a few months back when just a bit of spray makes the wipers go at high speed.
Funny is that when I am on a HWY and my speed is above 60 mph the wipers go even faster eventhough there is barely rain or the windshield gets the water from the the traffic.
Any ideas, feedback, comments are welcome. I have taken the car to the dealer but they say thay can not find anything wrong, but it just frustrating because it did not use to work like that.

Anyway I can do it without the start diagnose? if I have taken it to the dealer, should'nt the delaer be doing this already. All the dealer says is that there is nothing wrong....Has anyone expereince similar problems? or what is your expereince with the rain sensor?

Don't know if this will work, but have you tried unplugging your battery to reset your ecu? I know when I had fixed an issue with battery/alternator...see workshop error (showing in red in the VDO screen). I did not have a star diagnostic system available and don't want to go to the stealership just to clear the error. I just unplugged my battery for about an hour, plug it back in and error went away. You can try this route?
