a car that can't do the throttle reset.
anyone ever replace the horn?

Want something a bit louder. People don't even look when I honk. Any tips? DIY by any chance? Brands to buy?

CL 55 AMG Kompressor
I've disconnected the stock horn on my CL55 Kompressor and installed twin air horns. They are far superior to the factory set up.

Is it a hard diy? And recommendations on the horns you used?

CL 55 AMG Kompressor
The brand was Fiamm, made in Italy. I had the dealer do the instal at my major service.

The instal is quite straight forward you just need to locate the location of the current horns and disconnect the electrical connection to them and connect the connection to the air horn compressor. The air horn kit had fitting instructions.

Just make sure you don't get anything too big or you will be blocking the air to the radiator. The job itself is very simple. I can help you if you want.
