P0500, P0730... trouble~
IC Pump replaced, IAT replaced, SC cuts out all the time, if I wait a bit without putting load on the motor it cuts back in. IAT's stay below 140 when the SC cuts out...
No engine lights are on but there are two codes showing:
P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor.
P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio.
Could these codes cause my SC to disengage by means of some sort of limp mode?
From what I've read limp mode in these cars holds the car in a gear to prevent damage.
When I'm flooring it and the SC cuts out the car will sometimes remain in gear at high rpm until I slow down then it shifts...
Any clue where I should start?

someone with a ml had a similar problem...turned out to be a bad brake switch. maybe start there.
