C32 Clear Headlight Upgrade

I have the 'old style' 2002 headlights but which are Xenon.

I want clear lenses to update and refresh the look of my car...

No point in buying totally new Xenon units as I already have Xenons!...is there any way I can update to clear lenses someway?

Thanks!

no.

the frosty lens cover is designed to distribute the light emitted by the bulb. If you replace it with some clear cover all you do is creating a giant glare machine.

If you are going to update look for Bi-xenon.

You will need to purchase complete headlight assemblies. You can choose to go with bi-xenon style assemblies which will give you HID low beams and HID high beams, or just projector-style assemblies that retain your xenon low beams and use halogen high beams. OEM bi-xenon assemblies are incredibly expensive. Aftermarket assemblies are much more reasonable, but quality is hit-or-miss. Poke around the 'regular' W203 sedan forum and read up on the reports from guys who have made the switch.

You may want to budget for replacing the frosty driving lights with clear lenses and converting them to HID as well. Doing both really updates the look of the car, and matching the HID headlights with HID driving lights looks pretty awesome IMHO. My coworker converted his C230 driving lights to HID and went with a 3000K bulb, which gives a yellow light. Awesome for driving in fog.

bi-xenon are a simply plug&play swap.

OEM used set are going for around $800 USD. you can get a new set from Steve/MBenzNL for $1250-1300 USD. He can even install them for you if he goes to your area. not that expensive.

there's a guy selling the clear covers on ebay for $60 or something. Some guy posted it on the w203 forum. He said it wasn't a perfect fit but could be made to fit with a little extra work.
