HELP on Xenon Upgrade!!

Unfortunately I was involved in an accident recently and I need to replace my 2002 halogen lights. Wanting to upgrade to bi-xenons, I figured this is the perfect opportunity. I have talked to Evosport and a couple of other shops and they tell me it's as simple as buying the new lights and resetting the computer to xenon. MB shop on the other hand (where the repair work is being done) is insisting that the wiring and the relay is different and if I dont change everything (more than $3,000 just for parts), it will fry eventually. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!!

talk to Steve.... quite a few members on the board have gotten bi-xenons from him. hmm... try post this in the C-class section.

ETW : I got the same talk from my MB dealer and a price quote around 2500 I believe it was. No way I am gonna pay that for more light ... I prefer to get some more power instead !
