From time to time, I've gotten requests for WHITE STAR Flat Badges or AMG Flat Badges with the blue laurel wreath done in black, mostly from people with black cars.
In addition, there are some with the newer sedans sporting the blue badge in the upper grille who prefer to avoid the "double badge look."
While changing the color on badge inserts already made is not in the cards, I thought this all chrome style might work, instead as a third option among my custom flat badges.
So, what do you think?
The core of this badge is made from an S-Class part (#221-880-0086), not the blue laurel wreath cores from the W210 E-Class part (#210-880-0186). So the S-Class part will cost $10 more to buy from the dealer, which means the finished badge will cost $10 more than my previous work. So keep that in mind.

To clarify, I call these "Chrome Badges" because they look like chrome. However, truth be known, the mirror-like finish is a highly polished Aluminum, part of the entire core mount of the original upright star.

People still ask me for the White Star Flat Badge with the deeper relief background in the tristar insert.
Everyone should be assured that I sell ONLY this style, the "Current Production" example shown in the picture below... I ran out of the "Original," flatter tristar inserts years ago.
White Star # 524 is the next to be sold.

I have the original prototype left of the Polished Flat Badge. Shown below, it is unfinished, so that either the WHITE STAR, or AMG insert can be put in place. Once this badge is sold, I do not plan to make any more. This means there will be less than ten of these on the planet.

got any pics of the all chrome amg badges on a car? I just got my c55 so I might be interested in it since my car is black and you cant really do the black wreath (understandably of course)...as of now I already transferred the original white star from the c230 - c55...repping #131 if i remember correctly, lol

People continue to ask me whether I have my badges "in stock." I manufacture 10 at a time, and make a trip to the dealer for parts when I have just a couple badges left.
So I am generally never caught without badges for sale. This allows me to process and ship orders within 24 hours (sometimes sooner) as I promise.

I continue to get questions about whether I can create multiple color replacements for the blue Laurel Wreath in my badges. It's been a while since I explained this -- or it wasn't clear -- so here goes...
To accomodate the special White Star or AMG insert in my badges, I remove the upright star and mill away the mount for it -- the area inside the Blue Laurel Wreath surroud. That's all. The blue Laurel Wreath surround that comes from the factory is not touched.
Hence, I cannot change the color of the Laurel Wreath, since there is no need to do so. Nor am I equipped (with parts or silk screen skills) to replace the surround with another ring of a different color.
Hopefully this picture will explain it fully...
