However, I am getting that same flickering problem mentioned on this thread. I know its not the ballast or the bulbs because they were working just fine before I just replaced them!! I used my stock ballast and bulbs which mounted on to the Depo headlights. I think it might be the wiring inside the headlights. If anyone has any input that would be great. Basically the headlights flicker and at times just turn off, but if I turn my lights off and then back on which every head light that was acting up turns back on and the cycle restarts. Gotta love after market stuff!

did you have OEM before? b/c the D2R bulbs won't fit into the housing... you won't be able to lock the bulb down.

Sorry for such a long time away from thread... busy with work.

The issue I had were my bulbs were bad... the tips were burnt (should have taken photos) ebay seller replaced them free of charge.

Im running the 8000k in my DEPOs... same as AMG7, flickering stopped.

Curious as how AMG7 fit his OEM bulbs (D2R) bults into a D2S housing... the replacement bulbs I got were a D2C... universal to fit into both D2R & D2S housing.

I'm also having this problem but I'm not using the same D2r bulbs that were in my OEM housing. I'm using D2S 6000k Phillips bulbs and I'm still getting this exact problem.

The headlight turns on flickers, then sometimes turns off completely. It happens to both sides and this just started after installing my DEPO's.

BUT here is the thing. Almost every time if I turn it off and then back on it works. Its almost like the bulb has to "warm up".

Any tips or any trouble shooting I can do?

"Hdlamp mode" to Manual

I installed Depo bi-xenon recently and today I started having the same problem of flickering and complete darkness. What I found out was that this is because I changed the setting earlier today from Manual to Constant in the "Hdlamp mode" of the settings. When I changed the setting back to Manual, things went back to normal. I have provided the feedback to the eBay seller.

Where exactly do I find this setting?

I am working on 2006 C280 so the dashboard menu may be different from yours. What I did was to go through Settings -> Lighting -> Hdlamp mode -> choice of Constant and Manual. Hope this helps.

Pretty sure he is refering to the heads up display menu(under the speedo): off memory in the settings tab then lighting sub menu.

So the D2C bulbs cured a few of you guys problems?

I think the D2C is designed to replace D2R & D2S but I coud be wrong .

I off to buy as set
