I changed the battery in my daughters VW Beetle last night and it would have been handy to have this. Even more so on a MB AMG since there is quite a bit of relearning after a battery switch. These can be had for $15 and you can just plug it in to a car sitting next to the one getting the new battery. Since it plugs into the OBD II port, there isn't a problem of an accessory plug being "off" when the ignition is off. They say it only goes to the positive and negative pins of the port so it doesn't get to the computer, just keeps power to it.

Ive seen things like that before. I remember one somewhere that didnt need a separate power source it was self powered. A shop was using it while working on peoples cars... Clever Idea.
