Exclamation 185MM & Power Steering Line

Some of you might remember I just replaced the power steering pump. Recently the power steering started to leak again, and I couldn't find the location of the leak. Luckily I was in a parking lot when the line was eventually sliced deep by the 185MM pulley. Instant loss of all power steering fluid... I'm going to have the C32 towed back to my house, and pull the main pressure line. Have it fixed, and modified at Carquest if they can, or buy a new line through dealership.

People with the 185MM should check the clearance between this line, and the crank pulley. Keep it mind the entire line shifts when you move the steering wheel. I could have also bolted the main pressure connection to pump at the wrong angel. If someone could get a photograph that shows how the main line is connected on their c32 that would be great help.

How close was the line to the pulley on yours?

I cut the line, and used 3/8" metal pipe adapters to join a new 8" section of power steering tube. So far it seems to be holding up... First attempt failed with the line section burst open. I then used larger clamps that could be tightened with a wrench and socket. New line through dealership is $310 dollars...
