random engine bay screetch
when i accelerate quite quickly or sometimes kickdown ill shift from 2nd to 3rd in manual mode and ill hear a screetch, while accelerating in 2nd the car will feel slugish or not pulling to its full potential, maybe my belt is bad or needs tightening im a bit inexperienced so i need some help ( the belt feels like its tight enough)

Watch the idler pulley and listen closely with the engine running. Probably want to try it with somebody else revving it too. Not sure how it's mounted offhand, but if you can, put a long screwdriver on the bolt and "listen" through the handle to hear if it's binding or anything bad.
Have you replaced your coolant pump? How many miles? I doubt that'd screech, but...

The noise is most likely from the belt. If your car has the original belt at 80K miles I would definitely change it. Even if it does not fix the issue it would bve a good idea to change it before it breaks.
It is also possible that it is the SC clutch. You can unplug the SC clutch and take it for a drive. If the noise is gone it was either the clutch or the belt.
