C32 bose audio
I have a 2004 C32 with the stock bose system. I'm going to have my old amp and 12" sub installed. My question is, how difficult is it to swap out the inside speakers?
I wasn't able to find any info on the bose amp that is currently in the car. I would like to know where it is, how many channels it has, and what the power rating is on it.
Also, are there crossovers for the door speakers/tweeters?

Actually, it's pretty simple to do. Every one is always saying that it's difficult to work the fiber optics, but it's not that difficult.
You could always run a line converter or some thing like that to get a signal for your amp so that you can run lows.
As for the interior speakers, they are a very simple to get to, if you don't mind pulling the door panels. Some people go through the grill, but I like going through the door panel.
There really is not much of a cross over for the components for the speakers. When I took out the tweeter, it seemed to have a capacitor or some thing built in reducing the frequencies it was receiving.
The amp is in trunk of the car on the passenger side right behind the brake light. If you take the carpeting out of the trunk it will make it easier to get to. I'm not too sure on how powerful the amp is, but I'm pretty sure it runs in 2ohm since all the speakers are 2ohm. I want to say that the amp has 6 channels, front left, front right, rear left, rear right, sub, and a speaker in middle of the dash behind the vent. Each front and rear speaker consist of a mid bass and a tweeter.
There is a thread that goes in to further detail, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. He went with another amp and kept his factory speakers and head unit.
