1 st ODPS installation in Europe!
First impression after less than 20 KM :
Up to 4000 Rpm I feel not much change. Between 4000-6000 Rpm there is a nice extra push that one can definately feel !
My air filters where really dirty and needed to be replaced anyhow. In the air filter compartment there where even pieces of dried leaves ! The mech cleaned up the whole intake before mounting the K&N filters.
I did a couple of WOT from the red light and boy it really pays off ! Before, on a normal dry day the shift between 1 and 2nd gear was shift and no grip problems. Now the ESP light comes on briefly when the car shift from 1 to second !
To Evosport > the MB head mech was very impressed by the quality of the pulleys ! He also said that the intake could be optimized because the hoses are made out of flexible rubber that would reduce air intake during WOT. He is also looking forward to seeing future mods on my car since he used to prepare race cars years ago and still loves doing tuning.
Tell your mechanic that we're working on an intake and plenty of other mods to keep him happy! Have you put 100 miles on the car yet? It's not 'til your ECU fully adjusts do you see all of the new power.
