Thanks for the info I figured you were talking about the manual that came with the techron I do have all the MB manuals for the vehicle but it still doesn't give service intervals even for the MB branded fuel additives.

It says not to use fuel additives unless you're using gasoline that doesn't have them. See post #24.

What kind of car was it?

I run techron through my car once a year. $10 bucks is not a big investment. Bosch & Benz say it can't hurt our engines and no regular fuel detergents will prevent all carbon build up. So, it can't hurt and most likely helps.

For the guys here who've done this and are seeing better results, are you measuring the results in any way? Sometimes I feel my car runs better on a fresh tank of fuel, and runs much smoother when I have 4 passengers in it.
I could swear my car runs better after washing it... Honestly, I'm not joking. A clean car is a happy car...

I hear you dude and I already read that, but flushing/cleaning it with a little more can't hurt either.

Even running petrol with the proper additives will build up carbon over time. A concentrate will clean this carbon whereas petrol with additives will not.

Definitely. My friend uses it when he stores his E55 for the winter. He hasn't had any issues.
