i'm wondering if my auto leveling is functioning correctly. when i turn the headlights on, they dip down only a little bit, maybe 5 inches or so, vibrate for a second, then come back up. are they supposed to sweep more than this or is this normal? i know on the lexus, the headlights practically point right in front of the car before coming back up - it's a pretty huge sweep.

That's pretty much what mine do. I think that's normal. My left one always centers a little lower than the right. I guess to help not blind oncoming drivers.

oh ok, i was just surprised that the headlights barely move whereas on the lexus, they move about 2 feet up and down.
