is this the wrong waterpump?

well i ordered a waterpump from Benzbin.com and got this:

Obviously its not the same as the other one, so i'm guessing i gotta return it. I was just checking here before i did that, in case there is something i'm missing (like the design was changed) Any idea what this one went to.

and if anyone has a good picture of what it's suppose to look like.

It sure looks similiar having just replaced my water pump...what leads you to believe its not? I'm sitting at the airport now so can't go out and look. Something doesn't seem right, but man it sure looks close...

If you do return it, note I got mine from parts.com...the price there was for more, but a guy contacted me to inform me that it only came as a refurb item and it ended up costing less. PM me and I'll send you his info. Also check out my thread on the install if you plan to do it yourself. I paid less than $250 I beleive and stil have a core return coming back to me for about $50.

Just looking at the one in the car and looking at that one, doesn't have the same shape. Some of the holes seem like they'd line up, but it's not the same. I guess i'll be returning it. If i had the one off the car i'd take a pic of both and know for sure, just don't wanna take it off yet and have to wait..

Thats definately a water pump for M112/113 engines. They look quite different on the car, but that is it

yes sir it did. I looked at it today, the right side is the same.. i'm dumb. The left is a different shape but the holes look like they line up and the shape wouldn't make any difference. Only thing that looks a bit diff is where the idler goes on the waterpump. Some of the bolt holes around there look different. Any pics would be appreciated. I'll probably go ahead and rip it apart Sat.

Don't tear it down yet...if its not exactly the same I wouldn't use it...sorry I didn't get out to the garage last night to look. I will do so tonight...but one thing that stick out to me it the right most hose port (pointing upwards)...doesn't have a connector...a hose needs attached there and mine has something pressed into it to clamp onto...I don't see one on yours. I will check tonight and report back. I wouldn't want you to tear it down and be stuck as it'll take at least 3-4 hours before you can get it out (and hat assumes you're quicker than I was...I label and documetn everything,...it took me a good 5 hours before I got the pump out).

Don't use that one. I looked at the one in my garage and although it looks very close I am seeing more differences. I say take it back and get a reman one...I got mine on Parts.com...the price there was much higher than I actually paid....or you can try emailing this guy as he was the one who informed me of and sold me the reman one I got: MessineoJ@autonation.com

His name is Joseph
