2006 C55 - Center Console Lid Broken?

Hey all,

I have read a few posts about a similar problem but I still haven't been able to solve my issue.

The other day, I opened up my center console (the small compartment on top that can open from either the driver or passenger side), and the lid came off completely. I managed to get one side back on, but I am having major difficulty getting the driver's side to close. It seems that the buttons that you press to open the lid are stuck and won't depress.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!!!!

Had this happen to me a few months ago, same situation. I seem to recall seating the side without the stuck button by pushing in that button, then just lowering the other side down normally...but I could be wrong. I fixed it in about 15 seconds, but didn't make note of how I did it
