Boost and AFR before and after headers.

Does anyone has monitor boost and AFR before and after headers?
Cause most of guys here say that the boost will drop and AFR remain the same, on my car after LT headers i saw no drop in boost (same psi)and AFR leaned a little bit!

If the choke point from air filter to exhaust is the headers then you might some some drop in boost........ if you saw no drop in boost then your choke point in the system is before the headers..... heads most likely or the intake piping before the blower.

On supercharged cars I've dealt with...... one pulley combo on a stock car will see 12psi of boost.... this same blower/pulley combo on a Heads/Intake car will only see 6-8psi of boost..... your flowing same air BUT with less restriction so less boost. If the blower is still in the efficiency range you can up the boost with a smaller pulley to get more boost...... but this usually adds more heat...... Given the choice: I'd rather have lower boost and same HP with H/I vs high boost and stock H/I....... lower boost = less chance for deto (all IMHO).
