C32; the money pit?
I just replaced heating elements for both front seats of my 2002 C32 with 99K. Had a specialty shop replace the radiator, IC pump, and transmission cooling lines before that. Two idler pulleys were replaced less than 400 miles ago. a clicking sound from the dash board was fixed just before that. Two days ago had a flat front tire and had to use the jack but as the car was going up,the plastic tip of the jack fell off. There is also a heavy plastic piece under side of the car that is supposed to hold the jack in place and that came off too. I just don't know what else is there that can go wrong. Just to be on the safe side I have ordered the clutch bearing for the supercharger. I wonder when the left wheel will fall off! Oouch!!!

There is a diy out thre somewhere. I have the sound too, but its not worth it to me to go in and fix it...its a cheap part but I beleive its not too hard to do

Ther is also a diy on the heating seat issue...
sounds like you've gotten the most typical issues for our cars. Unfortunately it appears you're taking it in each time. Yeah those things add up if you're having a shop do all the work.
An IC pump can be replaced in about an hour for $150 in parts, each pulley can be replaced in about 30 minutes with only cost of pulley. The clicking sounds, as mentioned, can be fixed cheaply and having read it a while back it looked like a relatively easy job. The seat one I know there is something out there but haven't read it (if you pay for that one its way too expensive and I wouldn't even bother due to cost if/when mine do go bad, but I would look at the DIY and 'maybe' do it).
Now the radiator...I can do that and I know there is a write up, again seems to be a pretty straight forward job, but you'd want to be somewhat familair with working on cars for that.
It does have almost 100k miles...how long have you had the car? if you just got it recently it sounds like someone didn't keep it up, if you had it for a while, how long and what else has gone wrong with it since then?

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
the clicking noise behind the ac is the stepper motor. the plastic arms break over time. There's a diy on the w203. Its not hard but very labor intensive since it involves removing parts of the dash.
Yes its a mercedes, so you can't expect honda and toyota maintence costs. For the price you get styling, comfort and speed. The c32 is still faster then 90% of cars on the road today.
