ECU question

My car's ECU took in too much water and the shop it's at right now is saying I need a new one.

1.) Is it possible to somehow fix this one? And if it is who can do it?
2.) Is it possible to find a used one and have it programmed to my car?
If yes then who can do it?

I was just getting ready to put it up for sale and this BS happens...

Your C32 has got to be the record keeper with the most problems out of warranty my friend. After putting the new ECU in the car, I suggest you just keep it. You spend more money than the car is worth just modding/maintaining/fixing it. What else could go wrong with it (knock on wood)? From what I know I think you are going to need a new ECU and that with a used ECU your car wont run. I am not sure if there is somebody that reprogram a used ECU with your car's vin number. Good luck. Btw you have the only other car that I would ever consider purchasing in the near future, the mighty C6 Zo6.

I know... it's a shame it's been so unreliable, or else I would keep it. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about all you problems with this car.. I was in the same situation with a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited so i just traded it in and got $6,000 for it.. I truly hope you get everything squared away and sale it as soon as you fix it before something else goes bad..
